(3) the animation is due at the beginning of class, on its due date, usubmitted to Canvas.. be prepared to recieve
critique and talk about your intentions and ideas behind your animation.

DESCRIPTION:

The name "Times Arrow"* comes from a novel by Martin Amos (click for info) where the story is told in reserse chronological order and the reader experiences time passing in reverse, reverse consequences, reverse dialog etc, reverse actions..

*originally a short story by Arthur C. Clark of a timemachine that takes travelers to see dinosaurs

But for this assignment you can interpret Time's Arrow simply as a MINIPULATION OF TIME to make a creative animation.

EXAMPLES:

what if...?

-time moved in revese: instread of eating people would throw-up their food and then neatly arrange it on a plate

-or people walking backwards, drving backwards, living their lives in reverse...

-endless ideas can spring of this..what if this time reversal was effecting only one character and not the rest.

time moves extremly fast

-perhaps for only one character it moves slow, like the slow motion OR the mian character moving normal speed and everyone else moving extremely fast

time moves extremely slow

-from Chariots of Fire to the Matrix, this has become a cliche, but can be fun and interesting if you think you can put a special spin on it, or use it creatively.

your animation visits a time in the ancient past or the distant future
